Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Merchandiser — Sourcing & Production role based in Tiruppur Taluka. The Merchandiser will manage end-to-end order execution, including coordinating sampling, approvals, and bulk production with knitting, dyeing, and garment units. The role involves daily communication with suppliers and internal teams to track timelines, resolve production issues, and ensure quality standards and compliance requirements are met. The Merchandiser will prepare and maintain production plans, costings, and order documentation, and support pricing and negotiation with factories as needed. This position also includes monitoring fabric and trim readiness, conducting line checks, assisting with shipment planning, and supporting customer service teams with accurate status updates.
Qualifications

• Strong communication skills for clear coordination with mills, internal stakeholders, and customers.
• Customer service and relationship management abilities to support brands and ensure smooth order execution.
• Sales and marketing skills to help present sourcing options, support pricing discussions, and align production with customer needs.
• Experience in retail, apparel, or textiles, with an understanding of knitwear production and garment-dye processes.
• Attention to detail and proficiency with production tracking tools, spreadsheets, and basic reporting.
• Ability to work on-site in Tiruppur Taluka and visit partner factories as needed.
• Preferred: Prior experience in merchandising, sourcing, or production in knitwear; familiarity with export documentation and compliance.
• Preferred education: Diploma or degree in textiles, fashion, merchandising, supply chain, or a related field.
