Role Description The Site Engineer (Interior) is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for supervising and coordinating interior construction and fit-out activities at project locations. The role involves monitoring daily site operations, ensuring work is executed as per design specifications, safety standards, and quality guidelines, and resolving technical or on-ground issues in a timely manner. The Site Engineer will collaborate with civil and structural engineers, contractors, vendors, and client representatives to manage schedules, resources, and material requirements. Additional responsibilities include conducting site inspections, maintaining documentation and progress reports, supporting quality control checks, and communicating updates and risks to the project management team.
Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment and manage day-to-day site activities
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, engineers, contractors, and vendors
• Experience with quality control processes and adherence to safety and regulatory standards
• Background in structural engineering or civil engineering, with exposure to interior or construction projects
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in reading drawings and using basic site-related tools and software
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time constraints
• Prior experience as a site engineer or in interior fit-out projects in Chennai or similar markets is an advantage
