Position Title: Medical Content Writer Intern

Role Summary The Medical Content Writer will be responsible for creating accurate, evidence-based, and consumer-friendly medical and diagnostic content across digital platforms. The role requires strong research capabilities, clarityfirst writing skills, and a solid understanding of diagnostics and preventive healthcare. The writer will collaborate closely with medical, compliance, marketing, and product teams to ensure content credibility, consistency, and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities 

Medical Content Creation & Research 

• Create medically accurate, evidence-based content related to diagnostics, tests, health packages, and preventive healthcare. 

• Research medical topics using credible sources, clinical guidelines, and standard medical references. 

Simplification & Consumer Communication 

• Simplify complex medical and diagnostic concepts into clear, patient-friendly language. 

• Ensure content educates responsibly without causing unnecessary alarm or misinformation. 

Compliance & Medical Accuracy 

• Ensure all content aligns with ethical guidelines, regulatory standards, and internal medical compliance requirements. 

• Coordinate with doctors and medical reviewers for content validation and approvals. 

Content Planning & Support 

• Support marketing campaigns, health awareness initiatives, and product launches with accurate medical content. 

Adapt content for multiple digital formats including blogs, website pages, FAQs, landing pages, and educational assets. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Work closely with medical, compliance, marketing, SEO, and brand teams to ensure accuracy and consistency. 

• Maintain clear communication to deliver high-quality, medically sound content at scale.

Skills & Competencies 

• Strong medical writing and research skills with high attention to detail

• Excellent command over language with clarity-first communication 

• Understanding diagnostics, preventive healthcare, and medical terminology 

• Ability to interpret medical data, reports, and guidelines accurately 

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Profile 

• 2+ years of experience in medical content writing or healthcare content creation 

• Educational background in life sciences, healthcare, pharmacy, biotechnology, or related fields preferred 

• Prior experience in diagnostics, hospitals, healthcare startups, or wellness brands preferred 

• Strong portfolio showcasing medical or healthcare-related content 

• Ability to work in fast-paced, accuracy-driven environments
