About the Role
We are seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Media & Content Creator to join our healthcare communications team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, digital media, and creating impactful content that improves patient awareness, supports brand credibility, and drives engagement across platforms. You will play a key role in shaping the voice of our healthcare brand by delivering clear, accurate, and empathetic communication across digital and offline channels.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
- Develop high-quality content including blogs, patient education materials, social media posts, website content, newsletters, doctor bytes, and case studies.
- Create medically accurate and patient-friendly content in collaboration with doctors, clinical teams, and subject matter experts.
- Draft scripts for videos, doctor interviews, patient stories, and awareness campaigns.
- Maintain brand tone, consistency, and compliance with healthcare communication standards.
Digital Media & Social Platforms
- Plan, create, schedule, and monitor content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
- Identify trending healthcare topics and create timely, relevant content (awareness days, health campaigns, new treatments, etc.).
- Manage digital engagement, respond to comments/messages (non-clinical), and escalate queries where needed.
Multimedia Production
- Coordinate photo and video shoots for hospital events, doctor profiles, patient testimonials, and digital campaigns.
- Work with designers and video editors to produce high-quality creatives, infographics, reels, and animations.
- Ensure all media assets follow brand guidelines and patient confidentiality protocols.
Brand & Campaign Support
- Support marketing campaigns for new services, treatments, events, and hospital initiatives.
- Assist in executing BTL/ATL activities by providing creative content.
- Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with business goals and healthcare events.
Research & Compliance
- Conduct research on healthcare topics to ensure factual accuracy and awareness of industry trends.
- Ensure that all communication complies with healthcare advertising guidelines, ethical requirements, and patient consent norms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in content, media, or digital marketing (healthcare experience preferred).
Technical Skills
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Familiarity with social media management tools.
- Basic understanding of SEO and web content structure.
- Knowledge of Canva/Photoshop, video editing basics (added advantage).
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with doctors, patients, and cross-functional teams.
- Creativity with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with empathy and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
