Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Inspector role based in Nimbahera. The Mechanical Inspector will perform routine and detailed inspections of mechanical components, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and industry standards. Responsibilities include verifying measurements and tolerances, conducting visual and dimensional inspections, and documenting findings in inspection reports. The role involves collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve nonconformities, support root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions. The Mechanical Inspector will also help maintain inspection records, follow safety and quality procedures, and support continuous improvement of inspection methods.
Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mechanical Inspection and general Inspection techniques, including visual and dimensional checks using standard measuring tools.
  • Strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, with the ability to interpret standards, identify defects, and ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Foundational knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles related to materials, tolerances, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection plans.
  • Experience with documenting inspection results, preparing reports, and using basic quality documentation tools.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in mechanical inspection.
  • Familiarity with relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO-based systems) and safety regulations is an advantage.
