About Quick Quack Car Wash

Quick Quack Car Wash is one of the fastest-growing express car wash operators in the country. Our growth is powered by engineering innovation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and facility design.

We are seeking a high-performing Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering student to support equipment optimization, system design, fabrication improvements, and process efficiency initiatives.

Position Overview

This internship provides hands-on experience working with real-world mechanical systems, wash equipment components, fabrication assemblies, and operational process improvements.

The selected intern will complete a structured 3–4 month program that includes engineering design work, reverse engineering analysis, CAD modeling, and a final executive presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and improvement of mechanical components and assemblies
  • Develop and modify CAD models and detailed drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Support reverse engineering of equipment components to improve durability, cost, or manufacturability
  • Analyze mechanical performance and recommend design enhancements
  • Assist with process flow optimization and manufacturing documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams
  • Document findings and engineering recommendations
  • Design and execute test cases
    • Deliver a final presentation to executive leadership summarizing project results
Minimum Qualifications

  • Completing secondyear in an accredited Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering program prior to start of Internship
  • Minimumcumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Completed at leastone semester/ quarter of CAD coursework (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical design principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to commit to the full3–4 month internship program
