As a Mechanical Engineering - Connected Physical Products and IOT - Senior Associate, you will engage in the dynamic world of product development and manufacturing, focusing on the integration of IoT technologies within our operations consulting framework. Within our Management Consulting practice, you will be at the forefront of transforming physical products into connected solutions, enhancing their functionality and value. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver innovative solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.

As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your problem-solving skills and critical thinking to navigate complex challenges and deliver client-focused solutions. You will build meaningful client connections, anticipate needs, and embrace increased ambiguity to deliver quality work. Your role will involve mentoring associates and junior team members, guiding them to maintain professional and technical standards. You will also develop a deeper understanding of the business context, using this knowledge to inform insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing strategies for connected physical products and IoT solutions
• Conducting feasibility studies and market trend analysis to inform product development
• Managing product lifecycle from ideation to market launch, confirming alignment with client needs
• Utilizing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize production processes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product positioning and go-to-market strategies
• Leading operations management initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency and production control
• Analyzing manufacturing costs and developing strategies for cost reduction and efficiency
• Overseeing process documentation and simulation to support operational improvements
• Embracing emerging technologies to drive innovation in product development and manufacturing
• Providing client support by addressing feedback and adapting strategies to meet evolving requirements
  
  

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
