Mechanical Design Engineer (SolidWorks) – Contract (6 Months)

Location: Coimbatore (Preferred)

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract (Extension Based on Performance & Project Requirements)

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with 0.5 to 2 years of experience in SolidWorks to join our engineering team. Passionate freshers with strong SolidWorks skills and a solid understanding of mechanical design are also encouraged to apply.

• 0.5 to 2 years of experience in SolidWorks (Freshers with excellent SolidWorks proficiency may also apply)
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Experience in 3D modeling, assembly modeling, and 2D manufacturing drawings
• Basic knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, machining, or product design is an added advantage
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow design standards
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn

• Create and modify 3D CAD models and assemblies in SolidWorks
• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with GD&T and BOMs where required
• Support product development and engineering design activities
• Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver projects on schedule
• Maintain design documentation and follow project standards

• Initial contract period: 6 months
• Opportunity for extension based on performance and project requirements
• Immediate joiners are preferred
