Designation: Quality Analyst

Department: Quality & Process Excellence (QPEX)

Location: Ahmedabad

Reporting To: Team Lead / Manager – Quality & Process Excellence


Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Quality Analyst for the Covers & All business vertical. The role will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and ensuring the accuracy of product mockups, technical specifications, artwork instructions, and customer requirements before production. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with design and engineering software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or similar tools and possess a strong understanding of product dimensions, manufacturing specifications, and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate product mockups, technical drawings, and design specifications for custom cover products.
  • Create, modify, and verify mockups using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD/design software.
  • Ensure dimensional accuracy, measurements, fitment requirements, and product specifications are correctly represented in mockups.
  • Perform quality checks on customer-approved designs before production release.
  • Identify specification gaps, design inconsistencies, and potential manufacturing risks.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production, and Customer Service teams to resolve design-related issues.
  • Validate material specifications, product configurations, and customization requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for design and specification-related defects and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality documentation, audit reports, and defect tracking records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing production errors, refunds, reships, and customer complaints.
  • Participate in new product launches by reviewing product specifications, templates, and design standards.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards and process compliance requirements.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Product Validation, Design Review, or Technical Quality functions.
  • Experience in custom manufacturing, signage, covers, outdoor products, furniture covers, or related industries is preferred.


Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory/preferred).
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Creo, CATIA, SketchUp, or similar CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings, 2D/3D modeling, and dimension validation.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Knowledge of product quality control methodologies and defect analysis.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
