  • 8 – 12 years of experience in high-rise building construction, with strong exposure to finishing works

Role Overview

The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring all finishing works required for completion of core and shell activities in high-rise construction projects. The role involves overseeing blockwork, plastering, putty works, and other associated finishing activities, ensuring execution in line with project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.

The candidate will work closely with tower execution teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient execution and timely completion of finishing works.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinishing Works Planning

  • Plan and manage finishing activities for high-rise construction projects.
  • Prepare execution plans for blockwork, plastering, putty works, and related finishing tasks.
  • Align finishing activities with overall project construction schedules.

Execution Management

  • Oversee execution of blockwork, internal and external plastering, putty works, and other core finishing works.
  • Ensure finishing works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of finishing milestones.

Subcontractor Management

  • Manage and coordinate finishing subcontractors and labour teams.
  • Ensure proper deployment of manpower, materials, and tools for finishing activities.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and productivity.

Coordination with Execution Teams

  • Coordinate with Tower Incharges, Civil Execution Engineers, and planning teams for smooth finishing operations.
  • Ensure proper handover of structural work areas for finishing activities.
  • Resolve site challenges related to finishing execution and sequencing.

Quality Control

  • Ensure finishing works meet required workmanship and quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections for block alignment, plaster thickness, surface finish, and putty quality.
  • Address defects and ensure proper rectification before handover.

Material & Resource Management

  • Monitor usage of finishing materials such as blocks, mortar, plaster materials, and putty.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials to prevent delays in finishing works.
  • Track material consumption and reduce wastage.

Safety Compliance

  • Ensure safe execution of finishing activities across project sites.
  • Monitor adherence to site safety standards and work practices.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records of finishing progress and productivity.
  • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports related to finishing activities.
  • Coordinate with planning and billing teams for work progress tracking.

Technical Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of blockwork, plastering, and putty application techniques
  • Experience in finishing works for high-rise residential or commercial buildings
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and finishing specifications
  • Experience managing finishing subcontractors and labour teams
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD

Preferred Skills

  • Strong coordination with execution and subcontractor teams
  • Good understanding of finishing sequencing and work planning
  • Attention to detail in surface finishing and workmanship quality
  • Ability to manage multiple finishing work fronts simultaneously
