Job Purpose: Associate - O&M (C) - Solar is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of facilities and equipment while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and operational excellence. The Associate drives performance improvement, optimizes costs, and ensures timely completion of all required tasks and projects. By fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement, the Associate contributes to the overall operational success and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Operational Excellence and Plant Performance:
Achieve and track Performance Ratio (PR), Plant Availability (PA), Grid Availability (GA), and Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) targets as per annual goals.
Ensure the achievement of Module Cleaning and Grass Cutting targets on a monthly basis for each site.
Oversee preventive maintenance, ensuring timely completion and proper notification closure in SAP.
Ensure compliance with material and tools management, including maintaining zero instances of inventory falling below minimum levels.
Achieve a reduction in system downltime. Provide support & guidenance to site team for technical & other matters.Coordination with Grid authorities
Audits And Compliance
Ensure zero repetitive audit observations across all sites within the cluster.
Achieve on-time closure of all audit points as per agreed target timelines between the O&M team and the Audit team.
Maintain compliance with management systems including Legatrix, IMS, 5S, ESG initiatives, and Business Excellence, ensuring monthly compliance (agreed plan vs. actual).
Ensure timely submission of all required documentation, including Joint Meter Readings (JMR) and audit reports.
Safety And Regulatory Compliance
Implement and uphold a zero-accident policy, striving to eliminate Lost Time Injuries (LTIs) at all sites.
Conduct regular safety training and toolbox talks, ensuring safety concerns are reported and addressed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including timely closure of all safety audit points and reporting of safety concerns.
People Management And Development
Support recruitment efforts by assisting the Cluster Head (CH) and Central Cluster Head (CCH), Site Head to fill vacant positions.
Material And Asset Management
Oversee the management of inventory and asset maintenance projects, ensuring completion within agreed timelines, cost, and quality standards.
Ensure the timely calibration and testing of all applicable equipment as per the schedule.
Technology And Data Analytics
Ensure impementation of new technology intiative / POC.
Utilize data analytics and improve operational performance and efficiency.
