Material QA/QC Engineer – Finishing Works

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting QA/QC engineers with experience in Finishes works to join our Construction Dept. in a Large Scale Project in Dhabi.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead material approval processes for architectural and finishing works, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, approved standards, and quality requirements.
• Review and technically verify subcontractor material submissions, method statements, samples, and mockups prior to consultant submission.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to secure timely material approvals and resolve technical comments efficiently.
• Manage technical discussions and negotiations related to finishing materials, specifications, compliance requirements, and approval workflows.
• Conduct material inspections and quality checks to ensure approved materials are properly implemented on site in line with project expectations.
• Proactively follow up on pending approvals, defend material submissions, and address consultant comments to prevent project delays.
• Monitor finishing quality control activities, including sample reviews, mockup inspections, and compliance verification throughout project execution.
• Utilize strong technical expertise in architectural and finishing materials to support project delivery on large-scale building and construction projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contracting companies handling QA/QC, material approvals, and finishing works.
• Must have experience in high-rise tower projects and be familiar with material submittals, consultant approvals, snagging, and final handover processes.
