D'LIFE Interiors is looking for a proactive and experienced Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager to manage the execution of premium residential interior projects in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects on time while ensuring quality, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute residential interior projects from site handover to final completion.
• Study work orders, drawings, BOQ, and project schedules before execution.
• Visit project sites for measurements and verify civil readiness before installation.
• Coordinate with factory, logistics, procurement, and installation teams.
• Ensure materials are received as per the dispatch schedule and work order.
• Allocate work to installation teams and monitor daily site progress.
• Supervise carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, and other subcontractors.
• Ensure work is completed as per design, quality standards, and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve execution-related issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide regular project updates.
• Coordinate variation requests and obtain necessary approvals.
• Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards at project sites.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update project status to management.
• Coordinate part-payment and final payment collection from customers.
• Complete project handover and collect customer feedback and satisfaction reports.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of residential interior execution.
• Ability to read drawings and understand BOQ.
• Team management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Planning, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of quality control and site safety practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and project reporting.

Qualification

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or Architecture.
• Experience in residential interior execution is mandatory.

Experience

• Assistant Project Manager: 2–5 years
• Project Manager: 5–8 years

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in modular kitchen, wardrobe, and complete home interior projects.
• Ability to manage multiple residential sites simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel within Chennai for site visits.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
