Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Marketing Assistant role based in Kerala, India. The Marketing Assistant will support day-to-day marketing activities, including assisting in the planning and execution of campaigns, promotions, and events across Secura Centre locations. Responsibilities include coordinating with tenants and vendors, supporting the creation of marketing materials and digital content, and helping track campaign performance and footfall data. The role involves conducting basic market and competitor research, assisting with customer engagement initiatives, and collecting feedback from visitors and tenants. The Marketing Assistant will also help maintain marketing records, support social media activities, and collaborate closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure consistent brand presence within each centre.
Qualifications
  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in a professional setting.
  • Ability to conduct basic Market Research, including gathering and organizing data on customer preferences and competitor activities.
  • Customer Service skills, with a focus on visitor support, handling inquiries, and representing the brand positively on-site.
  • Foundational Sales and Sales & Marketing skills to support promotional campaigns, tenant activations, and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, on-site retail environment and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with basic digital marketing tools and social media platforms is an advantage.
