Compensation: - Compensation commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. Part of the salary is variable pay to motivate performance.

IMPORTANT: Please note that this position is NOT for digital marketing. NCL is pharmaceutical industry (Empty Capsules Manufacturer) - field-based B2B marketing and sales position. You are required to visit client office and factory regular. We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in B2B marketing, sales relationships and management, and on-site client engagement. Digital marketing professionals need not apply unless you meet the field sales and client interaction requirements outlined.

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead business development and customer relationship management activities across the Chennai region. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the pharmaceutical, PSPM, or capsule manufacturing industry and will be responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening customer partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and representing the organization in a professional manner.
The role will be based in Chennai or nearby area and will involve periodic travel to the Bengaluru Head Office and manufacturing facilities for coordination, reviews, customer visits, and business meetings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Expansion & Sales Growth
- Develop and execute regional marketing and business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Identify, acquire, and develop new customers across pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and healthcare sectors.
- Expand market share for Hard Gelatin Capsules, HPMC Capsules, APIs, and other company products.
- Generate and convert business opportunities into long-term customer relationships.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and healthcare organizations.
- Conduct customer meetings, technical discussions, product presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business requirements and offering suitable solutions.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Collaborate closely with the Corporate Sales and Business Development teams to achieve regional sales objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and customer preferences.
- Develop territory-specific growth plans and sales forecasts.
- Achieve assigned sales targets, profitability objectives, and business KPIs.
Brand Promotion & Marketing Initiatives
- Execute regional marketing campaigns to strengthen brand awareness and market presence.
- Represent NCL at industry exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, seminars, and customer events.
- Promote NCL's product portfolio through effective presentations and business engagements.
Team Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Operations, Production, QA, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, market intelligence reports, business forecasts, and opportunity pipelines.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management regarding market expansion opportunities.
Industry Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Capsules, PSPM, Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, API, or Healthcare industry.
- Prior experience in capsule manufacturing industry will be highly preferred.
- Proven track record in business development, sales growth, and customer relationship management.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Hard Gelatin Capsules, HPMC Capsules, APIs, and healthcare products.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain processes will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools and prompt-based business applications will be an added advantage.
Communication & Soft Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Strong analytical ability to evaluate market trends and identify business opportunities.
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and reporting skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree (Mandatory)
- MBA (Marketing) / PGDM (Preferred)
- Advanced Certification in Marketing, Sales, Business Management or related disciplines (Preferred)
