Role Description The Marketing and Public Relations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This position involves planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote Barket’s events and mission, both online and offline. The specialist will manage public relations activities, including media outreach, press releases, and partnerships, to increase visibility and engagement. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, coordinating event promotions, managing social media content, and supporting community outreach efforts. The role also involves interacting with event participants, gathering feedback, and collaborating closely with the operations and adoption teams to ensure consistent messaging and a positive experience for all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with adopters, partners, and media representatives.
• Marketing Strategy and Marketing experience to design and implement effective campaigns for events and brand awareness.
• Market Research skills to understand audience behavior, track trends, and optimize outreach efforts.
• Sales skills to support event participation, sponsorships, and partnerships.
• Proficiency in social media management and content creation is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, and attend events as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
• Passion for animal welfare and community engagement is strongly valued.
