Manual Tester (Insurance Domain) - 6months contract

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with strong Insurance domain expertise to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications by designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements, especially within the Insurance domain, and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases
  • Perform manual testing including functional, regression, and system testing
  • Identify, log, track, and report defects using tools like JIRA
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation using Confluence
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
  • Participate in test planning, test case reviews, and defect triage meetings
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality testing outcomes


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in Manual Testing (3–5 years)
  • Prior experience working with Insurance domain projects (mandatory)
  • Experience working with QA teams in Insurance companies is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation
  • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes


Domain-Specific Requirements

  • Proven experience in Insurance domain testing (mandatory)
  • Familiarity with insurance workflows, policies, and systems
  • ISTQB certification is mandatory
