About The Function

The Marketing function at MakeMyTrip is responsible for driving demand, strengthening brand equity, and building long-term customer relationships across all lines of business. The function brings together brand, performance, partnerships, and product marketing to ensure every customer interaction with MakeMyTrip is consistent, compelling, and conversion-led across channels and customer journeys.

Within the Marketing function, the Alliances & Partnerships team serves as the primary interface for external collaborations. The team focuses on identifying, conceptualizing, and executing strategic alliances with leading players across financial services, tourism boards, and adjacent ecosystems, with the objective of driving growth, expanding reach, and enhancing overall customer value.

About The Role

This role will focus on developing and strengthening partnerships with international and domestic tourism boards to unlock growth opportunities, enhance market visibility, and support key business objectives for MakeMyTrip. The incumbent will work closely with crossfunctional teams to conceptualize and execute high-impact joint marketing initiatives, drive co-funded campaigns, and build long-term, value-accretive relationships with tourism board partners.

What Will You Be Doing

  • Striking long-term partnerships with key international and domestic tourism boards.
  • Meeting revenue targets through tourism board investments across AdTech, Flights, Hotels, and Holidays.
  • Creating and executing ATL and BTL campaigns to help tourism boards achieve their objectives while unlocking incremental marketing funds aligned to MakeMyTrip business needs.
  • Negotiating campaign constructs, commercials, and partnership agreements with tourism board partners.
  • Acting as a bridge between tourism boards and the Holidays product team to driving product-specific priorities.
  • Maintaining an active pipeline of tourism board partnerships to ensuring quarter-on quarter growth in tourism board funding.
  • Presenting post-campaign quantitative and qualitative analysis to tourism board stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience

  • MBA from a reputed institute with 7–8 years of relevant work experience, including exposure to the Travel, Tourism, or Holidays industry in a client-facing role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships across external partners and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to conceptualize and scale co-marketing initiatives across ATL, BTL, and digital channels.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to track campaign performance, derive insights, and optimize partnership ROI.
  • Strong market awareness of the travel and tourism ecosystem, including emerging destination trends.
