Position Overview

Dlyft India is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities across the manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in both mechanical and electrical maintenance of CNC and fabrication equipment, utilities, and plant infrastructure. Candidates with experience in industrial robots will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Ensure maximum machine uptime and minimum production downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC, VMC, cutting, grinding, bending, and fabrication machines.
• Oversee maintenance of air compressors, power panels, gear systems, motors, drives, and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with Production and Quality departments.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians and electricians.
• Maintain critical spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical regulations, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain maintenance records, machine history, breakdown reports, and equipment documentation.
• Support installation, commissioning, relocation, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Ensure proper calibration and servicing of plant utilities and equipment.
• Drive TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures.
• Train maintenance staff on troubleshooting techniques and safe maintenance practices.

Required Skills & Technical Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with:
• CNC Machines
• VMC Machines
• Cutting Machines
• Grinding Machines
• Bending Machines
• Air Compressors
• Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
• Gearboxes, Motors, Bearings, Couplings
• Electrical Control Panels and Power Distribution Panels
• Knowledge of PLC-based machines and industrial automation.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, machine manuals, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Computer proficiency in MS Excel and maintenance documentation.

Preferred

• Experience with industrial robots (Yaskawa, OTC, etc.).
• Experience in manufacturing industries such as sheet metal, fabrication, bicycle, automotive, engineering, or heavy manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in PLC, industrial automation, or TPM will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in plant maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
