Overview:

We are seeking a licensed freelance tour guide based in Budapest to deliver high-quality private or group tours lasting approximately 2 hours. The goal is to provide an engaging, informative, and personalized cultural experience tailored to each client’s interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead 2-hour guided tours covering major landmarks, historical sites, or themed routes in Budapest.
• Deliver accurate, engaging, and well-structured commentary on the city’s history, culture, and architecture.
• Adapt the tour content and pace to suit different audiences (families, small groups, solo travelers, etc.).
• Manage basic tour logistics, including meeting points, timing, and route planning (walking or transport-based).
• Answer client questions and provide local recommendations (restaurants, activities, transportation).
• Ensure a safe, professional, and punctual service at all times.

Requirements:

• Official tour guide license for Budapest (mandatory).
• Must currently reside in Budapest (essential requirement).
• Proven experience conducting guided tours.
