Role Description The Travel Consultant role at Thrillora is a full-time, on-site position based in Ernakulam. In this role, the Travel Consultant will interact with clients to understand their travel preferences, propose suitable itineraries, and recommend packages that align with budget and interests. Daily tasks include managing flight and hotel reservations, coordinating transportation and tour arrangements, and supporting clients with visa, passport, and travel insurance processes. The Travel Consultant will use Thrillora’s booking platforms and partner networks to secure competitive offers, resolve booking issues, and ensure a smooth end-to-end travel experience. The role also includes handling inquiries, providing timely updates, and maintaining accurate records of bookings and client communications.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to design, optimize, and oversee end-to-end itineraries.
- Proficiency in Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including flights, hotels, transportation, and tour bookings.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and support travelers throughout their journey.
- Familiarity with online booking tools, GDS or travel platforms, and basic office software.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a travel agency or tourism-related role is preferred.
- Relevant education in travel, tourism, hospitality, or a related field is beneficial.
