Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Tour Guide based in Delhi, India. The Tour Guide will lead food tours while providing insightful commentary, sharing historical and cultural facts, and building engaging experiences for participants. Responsibilities include ensuring excellent customer service, guiding participants through local eateries and landmarks, answering questions, and promoting the services of Delhi Food Walks. The Tour Guide will also be expected to foster an enjoyable, educational, and memorable atmosphere for guests.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting Guided Tours and knowledge of Delhi's local cuisine and culture
• Strong Communication skills and the ability to engage audiences effectively
• Experience in Customer Service with a focus on hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction
• A solid understanding of History, especially related to Delhi's food and cultural heritage
• Sales skills to promote additional tours and services offered by the company
• Enthusiasm for food and storytelling
• Ability to navigate the city and handle logistics efficiently
