Lead Process Engineer

Role Description

• Team Leadership: Lead a team of process engineers in the development of conceptual designs, feasibility studies, FEL2, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and detailed engineering.
• Design Ownership: Develop and approve Process Design Basis, Heat & Mass Balances, PFDs, and P&IDs.
• Technical Execution: Perform and guide advanced process simulations and hydraulic calculations for multi-phase systems.
• Equipment Sizing: Oversee the design and sizing of critical equipment, including separators, compressors, heat exchangers, distillation columns, reactors and gas treatment units.
• Process Safety: Participate in client-facing HAZOP, HAZID, and SIL reviews. Prepare contingency analysis and sizing of pressure relief devices.
• Client Interface: Act as the primary technical point of contact for US project managers.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and ensure deliverables align with international codes (API, ASME) and US client standards.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Software: Expert proficiency in one or more of these tools - Aspen Plus, HYSYS, Aspen EDR, HTRI, PRO/II, Unisim, AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow, Flarenet, or Pipesim.
