Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior UK Accountant, based in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing and overseeing financial processes, preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK tax laws, completing tax filings, and maintaining accurate accounts. The Senior UK Accountant will be responsible for guiding and mentoring junior accounting staff, liaising with clients to address financial concerns, and supporting strategic financial planning decisions.

Qualifications

Proficiency in UK accounting standards, regulations, and tax policies
Strong financial reporting, bookkeeping, and reconciliation skills
Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar tools
Ability to analyze financial data, generate insights, and contribute to strategic planning
Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring junior team members
Excellent communication and client interaction abilities
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
Relevant qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, or similar certifications
Experience in UK accounting and taxation is highly desirable
