Roles And Responsibilities

Lead the Design and Application of Auxiliary Power business ( 5kVA to 2500kVA) by releasing the product as per Schedule. (Low range <200KVA, Medium Range 2001000KVA

Develop Product expansion range by means of Designing, Selecting, Branding, or technology tie up.

Cater Domestic and Export (Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe) Market requirements

Lead the cross functional team and provide technical support to other functional areas.

Collaborative working with, Marketing, Applications, & Product Line Management for Product release of custom sales order within agreed timeline

Develop technical requirements and quality standards for Products (DG set)

Following up with all cross functional and lead team for completion of tasks on time

Convert DG set technicalities, Application understanding and electrical integration in to technical requirements.

Sound knowledge of Design, testing, Validation, DG selection, Switch gears, Engine and DG Standards, and Zero based costing.

Has sound knowledge of different electrical panels like Synchronising panel, MCC, AMF panels

Capable to drive different training session to enhance team capability.

Sound knowledge on Homologations, Compliances and network with Govt/Certifying agencies for domestic and export requirements.

Drive Design of Enclosure, Silencer, Base , Cooling System for Gesnset and lead team.

Has to control cost to maximise the margins.

Support complete sales team for customised products for timely release of BOM and Specification

Highlight key issue during BOM preparation and timely escalation for resolution.

Responsive to regular reviews of SOF requirement and approvals for scope of supplies.

Coordination with cross functional team for closer of FTR / New product readiness

Participate in engineering change request discussion and update sharing with sales team

Coordination with sales team for technical document release.

Review of electrical schemes for integration of DG set with other panels.

Able to work on multiple projects on same time with fixed deliverables.

Encourage best in class and Innovative solutions as per requirements.

Skills Required

Minimum experience - 15 to 18 years

Deep Knowledge about Product design, jobs specific to DG sets.

Basic knowledge of Engine mounting and integration in DG set.

Use expertise in engineering / design / reciprocating engines / Gensets to help resolve urgent issues with current products.

Demonstrated proficiency utilizing mechanical engineering skills to analyse technical requirements.

Ability to apply appropriate skill set to design and packaging of complex components within Pro- E

Preferred to have knowledge of process (Casting, forgings, fabrications, sheet metal components, piping,) electrical schematics. Mechanical Design,

Proficiency in managing technical and organizational assignments.
