Key Account Head – C&I Solar Solutions

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven professional for the position of Key Account Head – C&I Solar Solutions to lead sales and business development activities in the Gujarat region. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through sales of Solar Inverters, On-Grid Systems, Hybrid Solutions, and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) across Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Utility-scale projects.

The ideal candidate should possess strong industry expertise, key account management capabilities, and an established network within the renewable energy ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and business development for Solar Inverters, On-Grid Systems, Hybrid Solutions, and BESS products.
  • Develop and manage key accounts across C&I and Utility-scale segments.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities with EPC companies, developers, consultants, and institutional clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and strategic customers.
  • Handle the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
  • Prepare business plans and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with technical and project execution teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
  • Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy commercial relationships with clients.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence updates for management review.
Required Qualifications
  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics Engineering preferred.
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
  • 10–15 years of experience in sales and business development within:
  • Solar Inverters
  • Renewable Energy Solutions
  • Solar EPC
  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
  • Strong understanding of:
  • On-Grid Solar Systems
  • Hybrid Solar Solutions
  • BESS Solutions
  • C&I and Utility-scale solar projects
Desired Skills
  • Strong negotiation and key account management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Deep understanding of the renewable energy market and channel ecosystem.
  • Ability to independently drive business growth and achieve aggressive targets.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Candidates currently handling key accounts or regional sales in the solar or power electronics industry will be preferred.
  • Existing network with EPCs, project developers, distributors, and institutional clients in Gujarat will be an added advantage.
