About the Role 

We’re looking for a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer with hands-on experience in testing web, mobile, and backend applications. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality through manual and automated testing, collaborating with developers and product teams, and improving QA processes to deliver seamless user experience. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, document, and execute test scales, test scenarios, and test plans for web, mobile, and backend  applications. 
• Perform manual functional testing as well as contribute to automation for regression and repetitive tasks. 
• Test APIs (REST/GraphQL) for functionality, data validation, error handling, and performance. 
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing for responsive web and mobile applications 
• Report, track, and verify defects using Jira (or equivalent bug tracking tool). 
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps during sprints and release cycles. 
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release testing. 
• Contribute to building and enhancing automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress,  Playwright, Postman). 
• Ensure quality in staging and production deployments. 

Qualifications & Skills 

• 1-2 years of experience in QA/testing for Web, Mobile, and Backend systems. 
• Hands-on experience in manual testing and exposure to automation testing. 
• Familiarity with tools and frameworks : Web - Selenium/ Cypress / Playwright/ Browserstack , Mobile - Appium/ Espresso/ XCUI Test/ Browserstack , API - Postman/ Rest Assured/ JMeter 
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation. 
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail. 

Nice to Have 

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). 
• Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure). 
• Familiarity with performance or load testing tools. 
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification (or similar)
