Junior Grant & Funding Analyst / Writer

Key Skills

• Strong written English with clear structuring and logical flow
• Basic understanding of grant funding, government schemes, or financial documentation
• Ability to research funding programmes, eligibility criteria, and submission guidelines
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured templates and instructions
• Ability to work with spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentations
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under supervision and incorporate feedback efficiently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  
  

Roles And Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting sections of grant funding applications under supervision
• Support preparation of technical, commercial, and narrative inputs for grant submissions
• Research grant schemes, funding calls, eligibility requirements, and timelines
• Compile background information, technical summaries, and supporting documentation
• Maintain version control and document formatting as per funder requirements
• Coordinate with internal technical, finance, and management teams to gather inputs
• Assist in preparing pitch decks, financial summaries, and funding support documents
• Track submission deadlines, compliance checklists, and post-submission queries
• Support reporting and documentation required after grant award
• Perform other related duties as assigned
