Overview

Medline is seeking an experienced and high‑impact FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Medline Branded Divisions.

This role will be responsible for providing and leading financial decision support with business partners, researching and recommending options to improve business results, and delivering high‑quality insights to senior management. The Manager FP&A will execute all monthly management reporting, drive automation and simplification of FP&A processes, build advanced analytics, and work closely with senior stakeholders to support central and divisional initiatives.

The role will specifically focus on Medline Branded Divisions reporting, with direct exposure to partnering with division leadership and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Central FP&A Management Reporting – Medline Branded Divisions
  • Own and execute central FP&A management reporting for Medline Branded Divisions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of results.
  • Identify, analyze, and clearly explain variances vs Plan, Outlook, and Prior Year, highlighting key performance drivers and risks.
  • Create, maintain, and continuously enhance KPIs and dashboards for divisional and senior management reporting.
  • Manage all month‑end deliverables within agreed SLAs, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness of:
  • Financial reports
  • Analytical commentary
  • Reviews and management decks
  • Key FP&A process metrics
  • Team Guidance & FP&A Process Excellence
  • Provide subject‑matter guidance to the FP&A team on:
  • Management reporting
  • Standard costing
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • SAP / Oracle systems and reporting standards
  • Act as the first point of escalation for ad‑hoc queries from onshore and divisional teams, providing real‑time solutions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Drive simplification and automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time.
  • Partner with plant controllers and divisional finance teams to streamline reporting at site, division, and consolidated levels.
  • Strengthen internal controls, quality checks, and documentation across all FP&A reporting and planning processes.
  • Team Management & Performance
  • Set clear goals and expectations aligned with divisional and organizational priorities.
  • Monitor progress against objectives and provide regular, actionable feedback.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support capability building and development.
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Planning, Outlook & Systems Expertise
  • Lead and support Plan, Outlook, and Forecast cycles for Medline Branded Divisions.
  • Ensure accurate uploads, validations, and reporting in Oracle PBCS / Oracle EPM.
  • Optimize system usage, troubleshoot issues, and train team members as required.
  • Ensure seamless coordination with central teams for downstream analysis and executive reporting.
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Medline Branded Divisions.
  • Understand stakeholder requirements, set expectations, proactively address concerns, and escalate appropriately.
  • Partner closely with onshore, offshore, and central reporting teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and transparency.
  • Business Partnering & Strategic Support
  • Support new business initiatives, system integrations, and large‑scale change programs impacting Branded Divisions.
  • Support in preparation and review of quarterly forecasts, annual operating plans (AOP), and long‑range plans (LRP).
  • Conduct and lead financial business reviews with senior leadership.
  • Drive process improvement and standardization across divisions and regions.
  • Act as a finance expert and trusted advisor to divisional business partners.

Qualifications & Experience

  • CA / CMA / Cost & Management Accountant or MBA from a Tier‑2 institute
  • 12+ years of post‑qualification experience in management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • 4+ years of experience managing teams of 5+ members
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle PBCS / Oracle EPM and SAP
  • Advanced analytics experience using Tableau, Power BI, and/or Alteryx
  • 4+ years of experience operating at FP&A Lead / Manager or above level
  • Proven experience supporting senior leadership and complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
