Role Description The Junior Company Secretary will support the company’s secretarial and compliance functions, ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in drafting and maintaining corporate records, preparing agendas and minutes for board and committee meetings, and organizing filings with relevant authorities. The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and external consultants, supporting the preparation of statutory returns and reports, and helping implement corporate governance policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, requiring regular collaboration with the management team and other departments.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of corporate law, company secretarial practices, and regulatory compliance processes.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in documentation, record-keeping, drafting minutes, and preparing statutory filings and reports.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with management, stakeholders, and external authorities.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with office productivity tools (such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software) and basic digital file management.
- Holding or pursuing a Company Secretary qualification (such as ICSI) or a related degree in law, commerce, or business administration would be beneficial.
- Ability to work ethically, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism would be beneficial.
