We are looking for a motivated Junior Backend Developer to join our development team in Kochi. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about backend development and eager to work with modern technologies to build scalable APIs, integrate third-party services, and develop data-driven backend systems.

You will work closely with developers and product teams to design, develop, and maintain backend services that power our digital platforms.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python or .NET
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services
• Work with databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
• Assist in debugging, testing, and improving application performance
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams for feature implementation
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Maintain documentation for APIs and backend systems

Experience:

• Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year experience in backend development

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Python or .NET backend development
• Basic understanding of API development and API integration
• Familiarity with SQL databases (SQL Server / PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of REST architecture and HTTP protocols
• Basic knowledge of Git and version control

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with FastAPI, Django, ASP.NET, or similar frameworks
• Understanding of JSON, authentication mechanisms, and API security
• Exposure to cloud platforms or containerization (Docker) is a plus
