Junior AI Developer

Introduction

Join a new engineering team in Kochi, India, dedicated to accelerating the digital transformation of Source-to-Pay (S2P) through advanced AI and data engineering. You will help build, productionize, and operate agentic AI capabilities using IBM Watsonx Orchestrate as the primary platform, complemented by open-source frameworks. Your work will directly support process optimization and efficiency improvements across procurement and accounts payables. You will collaborate closely with global teams from S2P, CIO, Chief Data Office, and Consulting, ensuring solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture and standards. Your Role And Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and testing AI agents and tools for S2P processes.
• Support data pipeline development and maintenance under supervision.
• Collaborate with global team members from S2P, CIO, Chief Data Office, and Consulting.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
• Document code and processes.
  
  

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

• Strong foundation in Python programming.
• Exposure to SQL and basic database concepts (academic or project work).
• Understanding of data pipelines and ETL concepts (coursework or internships).
• High learning agility with a strong interest in AI development, enterprise systems, and automation technologies
• Good written and spoken English.
• Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative, global environment.
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

Familiarity with IBM Watsonx Orchestrate or similar AI platforms.

• Experience with data mining or analytics tools.
• Awareness or hands‑on exposure to SAP BTP, especially the Integration Suite (even at a beginner or academic/project level)
• Experience or familiarity with SAP-related programming/integration concepts (e.g., OData, APIs, event-driven architecture).
