Java Developer (Microservices | Cloud – AWS/GCP)

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Java Developer with strong experience in building scalable microservices and working with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP). The ideal candidate should have hands-on development experience, a solid understanding of architecture, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners to understand business requirements, lead requirement discussions, and review solution designs.
• Own and manage backlog items; coordinate with team members to deliver features within sprint timelines.
• Design, develop, prototype, and troubleshoot applications across UI and service layers.
• Conduct technical design reviews and ensure high-quality code through peer reviews.
• Participate in architecture discussions focusing on scalability, performance, and user experience.
• Mentor and guide junior developers on technical best practices.
• Demonstrate developed features to client stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, reusability, and best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of multi-tier application architecture.
• Experience with Hibernate, SQL, and application servers (e.g., Tomcat/WebSphere).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and code quality tools like Sonar.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of design patterns, UML, and application architecture/design.

Preferred / Optional Skills

• 2+ years of experience in GCP service development.
• Experience building and deploying applications on GCP.
• Exposure to frontend technologies (e.g., AJAX) is a plus.
