Job Title: International Trade Manager – Exports (Middle East & Africa)
Location: India / UAE (with international travel)
Industry: International Trade / Commodity Exports
Commodity: Essential commodities like Rice, Sugar, Cooking Oil, Milk powder etc.
Salary Budget – 12 Lakh to 15 lakh per annum + Sales Incentive
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic International Trade Manager – Exports to drive business growth across the Middle East and Africa markets.
The role is primarily focused on international sales, client acquisition, and market expansion, while managing export operations from India and building long-term trade partnerships in these regions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. International Sales & Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Middle East and African markets
- Build and manage a strong network of importers, distributors, and institutional buyers
- Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and partnerships
- Develop country-specific market entry and expansion strategies
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close international deals
- Build long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact for international buyers
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business
3. Export Coordination & Execution
- Oversee the end-to-end export process from India to destination markets
- Coordinate with internal teams, logistics providers, and clearing agents
- Ensure timely execution of orders and adherence to delivery commitments
4. Trade Documentation & Compliance
- Manage export documentation and ensure compliance with international trade regulations
- Stay updated on import policies, duties, and regulatory frameworks in target markets
- Work with banks and financial institutions for smooth transaction processing
5. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics
- Provide insights to leadership for strategic decision-making
- Identify high-potential markets and sectors within the regions
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 5–10+ years in international sales/export markets.
- Strong exposure to Middle East and African markets
- West Africa preferred.
- Proven track record in B2B international sales and deal closures
- Solid understanding of export processes, logistics, and trade finance
- Proven Transaction value above USD 5 million.
Preferred Profile:
- Existing network of buyers/importers in Middle East and Africa
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Willingness to travel frequently across international markets
