Role Description The Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. The person in this role will develop interior concepts, create mood boards, and translate client requirements into functional and aesthetically cohesive designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing detailed drawings, selecting finishes and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating with architects, consultants, and contractors throughout project execution. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, present design proposals, incorporate feedback, and ensure design intent is maintained through construction. The role also involves collaborating with the broader design team to uphold WSA’s quality standards and project timelines.
Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to integrate form, function, and aesthetics.
• Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize layouts and circulation for various project types.
• Experience preparing Construction Drawings and documentation for on-site implementation.
• Knowledge of FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with 3D visualization tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and site teams.
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and construction practices in India is an advantage.
