Junior Interior Designer

Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concepts, space plans, and detailed drawings for interior projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with client presentations, preparing mood boards and material palettes, supporting FF&E selections, and coordinating with vendors under guidance from senior designers. The role also involves creating and updating construction drawings, site visits for measurements and supervision, and maintaining project documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, requiring regular collaboration with team members and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as an interior designer
• Demonstrated skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.
• Understanding of Architecture and basic building systems to support integrated design solutions.
• Ability to produce and revise Construction Drawings using relevant design and drafting software.
• Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, sourcing, and documentation.
• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar, and presentation tools like Adobe Creative Suite or MS Office.
• Strong visual and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow design guidelines and project timelines.
• Capacity to work on-site in New Delhi, collaborate within a team, and participate in site visits and vendor meetings.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; internship or junior-level studio experience is an advantage.
