Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer (Faculty) at the International Institute of Fashion and Arts, located in Agra, India. The role involves mentoring and teaching students the principles and applications of interior design. Responsibilities include delivering lectures, guiding students on space planning and design concepts, reviewing and providing feedback on construction drawings, and fostering their understanding of architecture and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). Faculty members will also support students in developing design portfolios and collaborative projects.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Space Planning and the ability to teach planning theories and practices effectively.
  • Strong background in Architecture and Construction Drawings with the ability to guide students in technical design and documentation processes.
  • Proficiency in Interior Design and knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection and application.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage and inspire students.
  • A passion for teaching and mentoring, with a commitment to academic growth and student success.
  • Previous teaching experience in interior design or related fields is preferred.
  • Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
