Role Description

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Interior Designer (Fresher) to join our team in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time, on-site role for someone eager to build a career in interior design while working on live residential and commercial projects.

The role offers exposure to the complete project lifecycle—from concept development and design documentation to site execution and project coordination. The ideal candidate should be willing to work both in the studio and on project sites, ensuring designs are executed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing residential and commercial interior projects.
• Prepare concept presentations, mood boards, and material palettes.
• Develop detailed 2D drawings, working drawings, furniture layouts, and construction details.
• Create 3D models and presentation renders.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, progress monitoring, quality checks, and design coordination.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and site supervisors during project execution.
• Assist in material, furniture, lighting, and finish selections.
• Update drawings and documentation based on site requirements and client feedback.
• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout the execution process.
• Support senior designers in delivering projects on time and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, Revit, or similar design software is preferred.
• Understanding of space planning, construction drawings, and interior detailing.
• Strong design sensibility with attention to detail.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for project site visits within Ahmedabad.
