Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role based in North Delhi for an Interior Design Professor at JD Institute of Fashion Technology. Responsibilities include designing and delivering curriculum, developing course content, mentoring students, and staying updated on emerging trends in the field of interior design. The professor will also conduct workshops, assess student projects, and collaborate with peers to ensure high-quality delivery of academic programs while fostering a culture of creativity and innovation among students.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Interior Design principles, construction Techniques,space planning, and design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop
• Proven expertise in teaching and curriculum development with a focus on Interior Design
• Effective communication, public speaking, and presentation skills
• Experience mentoring or guiding students and fostering creative thinking
• Up-to-date understanding of trends, materials, and sustainability in interior design
• Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals for academic enrichment
• Experience in research and development in the field of design is a plus
