Role Description The Business Development Representative role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The individual in this role will identify and qualify prospective learners, institutional partners, and other business opportunities through calls, emails, and digital outreach. Daily responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, nurturing leads, conducting product demos or information sessions, and converting qualified leads into active customers. The role involves close collaboration with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, understand customer needs, and provide feedback from the front line. The Business Development Representative is expected to meet defined sales targets, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and represent Oliveboard professionally in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, qualifying, and managing a high volume of leads.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales and Business Development skills, with experience in closing deals, managing pipelines, and achieving or exceeding targets.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex offerings clearly and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in EdTech, training, or educational services is highly beneficial, along with familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven sales processes.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate within cross-functional teams, and adapt in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in inside sales or business development.
