Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Injection Molding Process Engineer, based in Chennai. The role involves overseeing and optimizing the injection molding processes to ensure high-quality production. Day-to-day tasks include conducting mold trials, troubleshooting molding issues, implementing process improvements, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production targets and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in injection molding processes, mold design, and mold trials
• Experience with troubleshooting, quality control, and resolving production issues
• Knowledge of machinery maintenance and process optimization
• Strong understanding of material properties and their behavior in injection molding
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience in the plastics or manufacturing industry is a plus
