Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure & Data Center Engineer to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including data centre operations, virtualization, networking, firewalls, and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience in maintaining high availability, security, and performance of mission-critical IT systems.

- Manage and maintain Data Center infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Administer VMware virtualization environments, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of virtual machines.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including Layer 2/Layer 3 switches and routers.
- Administer and support enterprise firewalls, implementing security policies, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and access controls.
- Monitor infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring tools and proactively resolve performance issues.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Support server hardware, storage, and backup infrastructure.
- Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management of infrastructure components.
- Coordinate with OEMs and third-party vendors for hardware replacement and issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to IT security standards, change management, and operational procedures.
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, asset inventory, and SOPs.
- Participate in disaster recovery (DR) drills, backup validation, and business continuity activities.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
- Participate in planned maintenance activities and after-hours support when required.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in enterprise Data Center environments.
- Good understanding of ITIL Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle critical incidents.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and provide on-call support.
