IELTS trainer

Job Summary:

An IELTS Tutor is responsible for preparing students for the IELTS examination by teaching all four language skills—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The tutor assesses students' English proficiency, develops customized lesson plans, conducts practice tests, and provides feedback to help students achieve their target band scores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach IELTS Academic and General Training modules:
• Listening
• Reading
• Writing
• Speaking
• Develop lesson plans and study materials based on the IELTS syllabus.
• Assess students' English proficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct mock tests and evaluate student performance.
• Provide individual feedback and strategies to improve band scores.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and exam techniques.
• Monitor student progress and maintain performance records.
• Motivate and guide students throughout their preparation.
• Stay updated with IELTS exam patterns, scoring criteria, and teaching methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Experience teaching IELTS or English language courses (preferred).
• Knowledge of IELTS assessment criteria and band descriptors.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• IELTS, TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification is an advantage.

Salary range - 22k - 25k
