Job Title: Hydraulics Engineer – Mining & Industrial Equipment

Location: Remote (India)

Company: ABC Technical Services (in collaboration with Alan Barry Consultants, USA)

Type: Full-time

About the Role:

Do you enjoy designing hydraulic systems that actually work in the field — not just on paper?

We are looking for a Hydraulics Engineer who can bring together strong design fundamentals with real-world fabrication and assembly understanding to develop reliable, field-ready solutions.

You will work closely with US-based engineering teams, contributing to global projects in mining and industrial equipment.

About Us:

ABC Technical Services is the India-based engineering arm of Alan Barry Consultants (Milwaukee, USA). We partner with leading global OEMs in heavy equipment, mining, and industrial machinery, providing high-quality engineering design, drafting, and technical support aligned with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and validate hydraulic and lubrication systems for mining and industrial equipment
  • Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX (or similar tools like Creo/SolidWorks)
  • Work closely with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
  • Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and real-world validation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams for system integration and documentation
  • Work within PLM systems (Teamcenter or similar) for design management

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7–10 years of experience in hydraulic system design for off-highway / mining / industrial equipment
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic components — pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, fittings
  • Hands-on exposure to fabrication or assembly environments
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (NX preferred, Creo/SolidWorks acceptable)
  • Familiarity with ISO / SAE hydraulic standards
  • Strong practical engineering judgment and problem-solving ability

Education:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Fluid Power Engineering
  • Equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with lubrication systems, electro-hydraulic controls, or thermal systems
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM

Additional Information:

  • Fully remote role within India
  • Must be comfortable working with US time-zone overlap (partial)
  • Opportunity to work directly with international engineering teams

Note: Candidates with hands-on field, fabrication, or assembly experience will be preferred over purely design-only profiles.
