Job Description: HUNTER / NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - Semiconductor for Bay Area


Responsibilities

  • Drive go-to-market and new business development strategy for target segment
  • Achieve quarterly and yearly revenue, EBITDA, and DSO targets
  • Position and articulate Tech Mahindra’s offerings and value proposition
  • Partner with marketing/lead-gen teams on campaigns and events
  • Represent Tech Mahindra at telecom industry and technology forums
  • Build and manage C-level/executive relationships in target accounts
  • Understand customer challenges and align Tech Mahindra solutions
  • Work with procurement teams to establish MSAs and vendor onboarding
  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize opportunities; collaborate with pre-sales/alliance teams to maximize wins
  • Lead responses to RFI/RFP/RFQ and ensure timely, winning proposals
  • Maintain account plans and provide accurate sales forecasts


Role / Skills Requirements

  • 8+ years in new logo acquisition; strong C-level relationships in telecom industry
  • Knowledge of ERP, Data & Analytics, Network Services, Cloud, Automation
  • Experience in digital/business transformation across Finance, Sales/eCommerce, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Smart Factories
  • Proven track record in large-scale technology-driven transformation programs
  • Ability to manage global, multi-disciplinary teams, partners, and alliances
  • Exposure to outsourcing deals and consulting projects; understanding of emerging trends and new business models
  • Strong proposal response skills with innovative solutioning and commercial models
  • Results-oriented, “change agent” mindset; challenges convention and drives new opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel within/outside the US as required


Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate/Post Graduate or Equivalent with specialization in sales from an institute of repute.
  • 5 years of experience of selling software solutions and account management

  • Pursue longer term contracts.
