Human Resources Manager (D2C/Cosmetic/Personal Care Industry)

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Team Lead role based in Mumbai. The Human Resources Team Lead will manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee lifecycle processes for the D2C cosmetic and personal care business. The role involves implementing and updating HR policies, handling employee relations matters, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations and company standards. The Team Lead will partner closely with business managers to support workforce planning, talent development, and engagement initiatives in a fast-growing, performance-driven environment. Daily responsibilities include leading HR team members, generating HR reports and insights, supporting culture-building activities, and continuously improving HR processes to align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with experience in leading HR functions in a D2C, cosmetic, or personal care environment.
• Candidates should possess Employee Relations and Personnel Management skills, including the ability to handle grievances, drive engagement, and support diverse teams.
• Candidates should possess expertise in HR Policies, including designing, implementing, and communicating policies that align with organizational values and legal requirements.
• Relevant skills such as talent acquisition, performance management, HR analytics, and training & development would be beneficial.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with prior experience in an HR leadership or team lead role, is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities, with a mindset focused on ownership, learning, and continuous improvement.
