ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a growing IT company based in Raipur, and we're looking for a dynamic, people-first HR manager to join our team. This is a ground-level opportunity for a motivated fresher to build and shape our HR function from scratch - from talent acquisition and onboarding to culture-building and compliance. If you're passionate about people, organized by nature, and excited about working in a fast-paced tech environment, this role is for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Own end-to-end hiring: job postings, screening, interviews, offer rollouts
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates using job portals, LinkedIn, and campus drives
- Coordinate with department heads to understand hiring needs and define role requirements
- Manage onboarding process to ensure a smooth Day 1 experience for every new hire
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Design and run engagement initiatives, team events, and recognition programs
- Act as a go-to person for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution
- Foster an inclusive, open, and high-performance work culture
- Conduct regular pulse checks and employee satisfaction surveys
Payroll & HR Compliance
- Manage payroll inputs, attendance, and leave records accurately and on time
- Maintain and update HR documentation, employee files, and HRMS records
- Draft and implement HR policies, offer letters, and employment agreements
Performance Management
- Support in setting up and running appraisal cycles (quarterly/annual)
- Assist managers in goal-setting and performance tracking for team members
- Maintain performance records and support PIP processes when needed
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning sessions
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- MBA / BBA / PGDM with specialisation in Human Resources
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, empathy, and emotional intelligence
- Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
- Exposure to HR tools / HRMS platforms is a plus
- Self-starter who can work independently in a lean, growing team
GOOD TO HAVE
- Internship experience in HR, recruitment, or people ops
- Familiarity with tech hiring or IT industry HR practices
- Knowledge of labour law basics and statutory compliance
- Experience managing social media / LinkedIn for employer branding
