Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Business Consultant to manage client engagement and project coordination. The role involves understanding client requirements, analysing existing business processes, ensuring effective communication between stakeholders, managing documentation, and supporting project delivery in
compliance with market standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Requirement Management
- Conduct detailed discussions with clients to understand business requirements for new and existing system modules.
- Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate client requirements and translate them into clear, actionable business and system solutions.
- Gather, analyse, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients through formal written correspondence and verbal discussions.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with clients to clarify expectations and resolve queries.
- Communication & Documentation
- Prepare Minutes of Meetings (MoMs), project status reports, and official correspondence for clients.
- Develop and maintain MIS reports as per client requirements.
- Ensure all documentation complies with client communication and reporting standards.
- Maintain records of approvals, change requests, and official communications.
- Strategic Client Management
- Develop and implement communication strategies and narratives aligned with project objectives and client policies.
- Present project updates, proposals, and recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
- Support senior management in stakeholder presentations and review meetings.
- Internal Coordination & Project Monitoring
- Coordinate closely with internal technical, operations, and support teams.
- Stay updated on existing, ongoing, and upcoming developments.
- Communicate project requirements, timelines, and priorities to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor progress against project milestones and escalate risks when required.
- Financial Coordination & Billing
- Prepare quotations for new developments, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), and additional services.
- Support invoicing and billing activities in line with client procurement policies.
- Coordinate with clients for approvals and the release of funds.
- Track payment status and ensure timely collections.
- Maintain financial documentation and compliance records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and Telugu, Hindi required).
- Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability in client coordination, especially with government departments (preferred).
- Understanding of project management and governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and complex workflows.
- Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on public-sector IT or government projects.
- Familiarity with tender processes, AMC management, and compliance requirements.
