Role Overview
The Store HR Executive (Junior) will support day-to-day HR operations at the store and act as a friendly point of contact for employees. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career HR professionals who want hands-on exposure to retail HR and people operations.
You will work closely with the Store Manager and Central HR team, learning how HR functions on the ground in a fast-moving retail environment.

You will work closely with the Store Manager and Central HR team, learning how HR functions on the ground in a fast-moving retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Support & Coordination
- Be the first point of contact for store employees for HR-related queries.
- Support new joiner onboarding (documents, ID cards, induction support).
- Assist in employee exits and offboarding formalities.
- Attendance, Leave & HR Systems
- Help track daily attendance, punches, leaves, and regularisation.
- Update and maintain employee data on the HR system (Keka).
- Support the central HR team during monthly payroll processing.
- Hiring & Joining Support
- Assist in store-level hiring coordination (scheduling interviews, follow-ups).
- Support offer rollouts and joining formalities.
- Coordinate with staffing partners, if required.
- Employee Engagement & Store Culture
- Help plan and execute employee engagement activities, festivals, and celebrations.
- Share HR communication and updates with the store team.
- Support store incentive programs and recognition activities.
- Policy Awareness & Compliance Support
- Help ensure employees follow company policies and guidelines.
- Support basic POSH awareness and compliance documentation.
- Escalate employee issues or concerns to senior HR when needed.
- Coordination with Teams
- Work closely with the Store Manager, City HR, and Central HR team.
- Assist in training coordination and people initiatives rolled out by HO.
- Maintain simple HR trackers and reports.
- Good communication and people skills
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email, HR systems)
- Friendly, approachable, and organised
- Comfortable working in a retail/store environment
- Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Psychology, Management, or related fields
- Freshers are welcome
- 0–2 years of experience in HR, retail, hospitality, or service industry is a plus
