Hiring for HR Business Partner – Junior Level

Job Summary

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) – Junior Level supports the alignment of business objectives with people practices for assigned functions. The role works closely with senior HRBPs and business leaders to execute core HR processes including workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, engagement initiatives, and HR analytics. The incumbent will act as a point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring effective HR service delivery, policy compliance, and a positive employee experience. The role also supports HR digitalization and automation initiatives at Hetero.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support execution of HR initiatives for assigned business functions and monitor HR effectiveness
  • Partner with line managers to provide day-to-day HR support and solutions
  • Handle employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters with guidance from senior HRBP
  • Coordinate with onboarding team, assimilation, and deployment
  • Support Performance Management System (PMS) cycles including goal setting, reviews, and closures
  • Assist in implementation of compensation, benefits, and rewards processes as per policy
  • Drive employee engagement activities and support retention initiatives
  • Ensure effective employee communication and feedback mechanisms
  • Support employee governance, welfare initiatives, and statutory compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams & HR teams
  • Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and basic analytics for decision support
  • Support adoption of HR systems, automation, and AI-enabled tools for improved efficiency

Requirements

Education

  • Graduation in any discipline
  • Full-time MBA / PGDM in HR preferred (reputed B-School candidates preferred)
  • All education (10th, 12th, Graduation) must be full time
  • CBSE background for 10th & 12th is an added advantage

Experience

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in HR Business Partnering / Generalist HR role
  • Freshers with relevant internships or projects in HR are encouraged to apply
  • Exposure to corporate HR processes preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Good interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong coordination and follow-up abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge of employee life cycle , HR policies, labor laws, and HR systems
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and HR MIS reporting
  • Confidence in public speaking; anchoring or facilitation skills for HR forums, employee engagement programs, and corporate events will be an added advantage
